Testing Fcitx5 Rime 1.7.3 on FreeBSD

In this video, I demonstrate an issue with Fcitx5 Rime 1.7.3 on FreeBSD. The expected output should be the Chinese phrase “你吃饭了吗”, but the input system fails to display it correctly. Notably, Nimf Rime exhibits the same bug, suggesting that the problem is inherent to FreeBSD’s Rime 1.7.3. In contrast, Arch Linux comes with librime 1.8.5, which does not suffer from this issue. I have not yet verified whether using librime 1.7.3 on Linux would also trigger the bug.
